How to save screenshots in JPG format on a Mac

Unless you need perfect quality of your screenshots, you don’t really need them to be save in PNG format.

I love saving screenshots in JPG file due to the smaller file size. A PNG screenshot weighs in at 3MB, versus one in JPG format which is only at 0.85MB. That’s a saving of more tahn 70%! A smaller file size makes it easier to send it across via email, chat and web!
